A twelve-month cycle
A Twelve-Month Curriculum
Level 2 is a technical study of how tango movement is actually produced. We work with spiral, counter-rotation, front and back body, changing points of connection, and the transfer of energy through the embrace to create movement that is more precise, three-dimensional, and expressive.

The study matures
Technique Becomes Expressive
Level 2 is where technique becomes increasingly expressive.
You are no longer only asking:
What step are we doing?
You begin asking:
How do you whisper in body language?
Already have tango experience?
Test Into Level 2
If you have trained elsewhere and feel ready for more technical and complex tango study, you are welcome to test into Level 2.
This class assumes a working understanding of tango fundamentals, including walking, crosses, front and back ochos, the ocho cortado, and social navigation.
Send us an email and we can help determine whether Level 2 is the right place for you.
