What People Are Saying
"It feels like a fairytale." Sofe and Chris make dancing seem like a fairytale. Their teaching style is easy, fun and creative. You forget that you are learning until you all of a sudden emerge as a much better dancer. Voilà!
Tamrika
"Rediscovered music through my body." I am fascinated by the silence pause in Tango, where it feels like you express volumes as you remain motionless between two beats. Chris has helped me rediscover music through my body, and I am grateful.
David
"A creative pursuit that brought us closer." Every week we've both gushed about what a joyful experience it has been to learn from Sofe and Christopher in this truly special class. It's been amazing to find a creative pursuit that has made us feel closer to each other, more grounded in ourselves, and connected to others in the class.
Sarah
"Dancing with childlike glee." Two Flame Tango offers a highly effective approach to tango. You'll find yourself dancing with childlike glee in no time as they transmit their knowledge of tango music and musicality through dance.

Register NowCommon Questions
Do I need a partner?
Partners are not necessary. We rotate partners through out class.
Do I need dance shoes?
Yes, you do. Here are some options: Elevate Dancewear and or buy a practice pair on amazon.
What if I miss class?
We send class notes and you may come 15 minutes early next week and we can catch you up.
I've never danced in my life. Is this really for me?
Yes. That's exactly who this is for. We start from the very beginning: posture, weight, walking. No dance background required, and no one in the room will be judging your starting point.
I'm coming alone. Will that be awkward?
Not at all. Most students arrive solo. We rotate partners throughout every class, so you'll dance with everyone and meet the whole group naturally. Many of our best students came alone and built lasting friendships here.
I'm not young or naturally graceful. Will I keep up?
Tango is not about age, flexibility, or natural talent. It's about attention and practice, both of which can be developed at any stage of life. We have students of all ages and backgrounds, and all of them improve.
What happens after the 6 weeks?
Graduates are invited to join our ongoing Monday and Tuesday classes and the Thursday Milonga del Alma social. Many students stay for years. The 6-week series is where everything begins.
Is this a subscription? What am I actually paying for?
This is a one-time payment for the full 6-week series. Not a subscription, not a membership. $95 per person covers all six classes plus access to your student portal. No recurring charges.
What if it's not the right fit?
If the first class isn't the right fit for you, let us know and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked.
This is just the beginning
Graduates join our ongoing Monday and Tuesday continuing series and the Thursday Milonga del Alma social, a real milonga where you dance with the community you've built. Many students stay for years. The 6-week series opens the door.
