A Taste of
Tango

Your chance to meet the dance, the instructors and the community.

People dancing at a Tango Taster class

Feel tango in your body

You don’t have to figure tango out.

You just have to experience it.

And once you feel it, your body knows where to go.

What You'll Experience

Simple Guided Exercises

You'll be led through a few clear, beginner-friendly movements to help you get comfortable moving with another person.

Partner Connection Practice

You'll rotate partners and learn how to connect through light touch - no experience or coordination required.

Music & Timing Made Easy

You'll explore how to move with the music in a simple, intuitive way - no counting or rhythm skills needed.

Everything You Need to Start

Just wear comfortable clothes and smooth-soled shoes if you have them. Come solo or with a partner - we'll take care of the rest.

What People Say

“It feels like a fairytale.”

“I didn't know I could experience music like that.”

“We left feeling closer to each other and to ourselves.”

Common Questions

Do I need a partner?

Not at all. Most people come solo. We rotate partners throughout the class so you'll connect with several people in a relaxed, friendly way.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes and smooth-soled shoes are ideal — but anything goes for a Tango Taster. Just avoid rubber-soled sneakers if you can.

I have two left feet. Will I be okay?

Tango is built on walking, not performance. If you can walk comfortably, you can tango. We have never had someone not be able to participate.

What happens after the Tango Taster?

If you love it, you can join our next beginner cohort or attend social events. There's no pressure — but most people want more after just one class.
